Data Security & Technical Questions

Can I run PoliteMail server on my Exchange Server?
Yes. However, realize that both applications are resource intensive. For best performance, install fast (10,000 rpm or faster) hard drives and additional RAM.
What kind data is stored on the PoliteMail.Net service?
Every time a tracked message is sent using PoliteMail, a small amount of data is recorded on the PoliteMail.Net server, including the recipients email address and the message subject, but NOT the message itself.

Your message is ultimately sent by Outlook through your own authentic email server directly to the recipient. Response data is also stored on the PoliteMail.Net data service. Information entered into the contact records, and email content saved to the content library is also stored on the PoliteMail server.
Are my email addresses and data secure?
Yes. Our network operations center is secure and your data is behind industrial strength firewall protection. For additional information please download our data security pdf.

Our privacy policy, terms of service and license agreement all specifiy our employees may not access your data at any time, unless necessary for technical support or by legal order.
Can I share the email message in addition to the subject line and response?
To enable full, multi-user email sharing—where marketing, sales and service people can view a complete interaction history and multiple email threads with a contact—you must purchase a PoliteMail Server or PoliteMail Unlimited. Note that full email sharing stores a copy of every tracked email sent, which utilizes a significant amount of disk space. This feature may also be beneficial for Sarbanes-Oxley and HIPPA compliance.
