Deliverability & Opt-Out Questions

Will my email make it to the Inbox?: Using PoliteMail, you are sending authentic 1 to 1 email from your own server, just as if you had sent each email individually.

Reasons email does not reach the intended Inbox are:
- message content gets filtered into junk folder
- invalid email address
- sending from a blacklisted email server

PoliteMail features like CAN-SPAM compliance, SpamScore and sending from an authentic server increases email delivery.
Is PoliteMail SENDER ID and CAN-SPAM compliant?: Yes. By using PoliteMail, you are sending authentic 1 to 1 email from your own server, just as if you had sent each email on your list individually. This is fully compatible with SenderID or DomainKey records.

When sending commercial email, use PoliteMail's CAN-SPAM compliance option to provide automated unsubscribe/opt-out and communication preferences.
How do I avoid having my messages put into the junk folder?: Avoiding terms like FREE or guaranteed in your subject line. Avoid ALL CAPS. Avoid multiple exclamation marks!!!

To understand the rules spam filters use to filter email, use PoliteMail's SpamScore™ utility to score messages before sending, then edit the content to improve deliverability.
How do I avoid Spam abuse complaints?: When sending commercial email, always use PoliteMail's CAN-SPAM feature, which includes an automatic PoliteOptout™ feature. This ensures CAN-SPAM compliance and recipients may politely remove themselves from your list.
Could this cause messages from our network to be black listed as spam?: Networks or servers are only blacklisted as a result of Spam abuse compliants filed by recipients. If you send UCE (Unsolicited Commercial Email) to recipients that requested to be removed from your list, they may consider it abuse.
