I run a virus scanner on outgoing email will this slow down my sends?
Yes! Most outgoing email virus scanners suffer from terrible performance. This is not a issue for sends less then 500 recipients but larger sends can be seriously affected with emails being dropped.

In most cases it is relatively simple to disable outgoing email scanning either temporarily or permanently. Symantec has detailed instructions for disabling outgoing email scanning in Norton Antivirus here.
PoliteMail has disappeared from my Outlook how do I get it back?
If Outlook encounters a problem it may disable an addin such as PoliteMail. When this happens PoliteMail will be disabled and will disappear from your Outlook interface.

To get PoliteMail back in Outlook 2000-2003 go to:
Help->About Microsoft Office Outlook->Disabled Items

To get PoliteMail back in Outlook 2007 go to:
Tools->Trust Center->Addins->Manage COM Add-ins

PoliteMail is not catching my bounced messages, why?
In order for PoliteMail to properly process an undeliverable message it must come into the main Inbox of the Outlook account that sent the original message via PoliteMail. Sending as other users or using Reply-To address can all prevent PoliteMail from processing undeliverables.
If this is unavoidable seting up an Outlook rule to move or copy the incoming message to the main Inbox folder can allow PoliteMail to properly process the undeliverable.
