Easy Opt-out Compliance Controls in Outlook

Simply check the Enable Opt-out option to place the CAN-SPAM compliant opt-footer into any commercial message you will send from Outlook.


PoliteMail places the footer with opt-out link at the bottom of your email, you may edit, or copy and paste to move it within your message.


Of course you can remove the PoliteMail logo tag if you wish, or use the PoliteMail > Account Settings page to set your default preferences.


Corporate Accounts may create their own branded opt-out footer, which will be standardized across all users on the account.

Create opt-in mailing lists with a simple switch

To create an opt-in subscription list, simply use PoliteMail > Manage Lists, create a new list, or set the Subscription option on any list to yes. Subscription lists automatically become available on your communication preferences page.

PoliteMail will automatically remove opt-out addresses from your list(s) immediately. You may also import and export suppression lists (do-not-send lists), for compatibility with other systems.

Opt-out is enforced for PoliteMail users

If you have opt-out addresses on your list, PoliteMail won't send to them.



If you type opt-out addresses into the To: field, PoliteMail will not send to them either.

Use PoliteMail's opt-in builder tool to create your own opt-in subscription forms, which you can put on your website to capture email addresses directly into your PoliteMail mailing lists.

Automatically manage undeliverables

PoliteMail will automatically remove undeliverables from your inbox, eliminating clutter and identifying those with hard bounces. PoliteMail will automatically remove hard bounce undeliverable addresses from your list(s) after multiple undeliverable attempts (you may modify this setting using PoliteMail > Account Settings.
