PoliteMail automatically adds new contacts to the system as you send email messages. You can add a new contact in the system manually or by importing contacts from Outlook, another email application, or a database file.
Adding a new contact manually
You can add new contacts manually either from the Information Panel or from the PoliteMail main menu.
From new message
Make sure the message is highlighted in your inbox (you do not have to open the message to add the contact). You will see the sender's name and email address in the Contact Panel.
Select a Contact Type from the dropdown menu.
Select the mailing list(s) for this contact. You do not need to hold down the Shift or Ctrl keys to select more than one list.
Click the Add to PoliteMail Pro Contacts button. 
This person will appear in your contacts list and in the Response Panel as a "recent response."
Select New > New Contact. This will open a new contact record.

Enter the contact's information by clicking inside each box. Click the black arrows to expand the Company/Org, Phone, Title, Address, and Notes/Description fields.
