PoliteMail allows you to track files attached to email messages. These Smart Attachments can be placed into a message from the Content Library, or imported from your computer.

When you are composing a message, place the cursor where you'd like to insert the link to the file.
Find the name of the file you wish to use in the Attachments folder in the Content Library.
Click the "+" to display the list of files.
Click the name of the file you wish to use. It will appear in the body of your message.
Adding a New Smart Attachment to a Message
To insert a Smart Attachment in a message, choose the Smart Attachment icon from the PoliteMail send toolbar. This will open the Import Content/Smart Attachment window.

Click the Browse button to find the file on your computer or in your network.
To make this attachment available to other users, select "Share this;"to keep it for your use only, select "Keep Private." Label the graphic and include a description to make it easier to find in the Content Library.
Click the Save button to insert the link to the file in the message and it in the Content Library.
