If you use Microsoft Office Outlook for your everyday email, PoliteMail will work for you.

PoliteMail requires Microsoft Office Outlook version 2007, 2003, XP or 2000. PoliteMail does not work with Microsoft Outlook Express. If you are using Express, you can try Microsoft Office Outlook for free, install that, and then install the PoliteMail trial.

You'll have to have an Internet connection and an email server, but if you're already sending email using Outlook, then of course you have those. A 1024x768 screen resolution is a recommended minimum, although it will work on an 800x600 screen. You will have to have Internet Explorer version 5 or greater installed on your computer (PoliteMail utilizes some of IE's DLL components, and you can still use whatever web browswer you like). PoliteMail does connect to the secure PoliteMail.Net database host service, and you will have to sign in once using the credentials provided to you upon registration of PoliteMail.
